About Me
Haden W. Goodwin
Sports Data Analyst & Developer
My Story
My journey into sports analytics grew out of a lifelong love of sports and a fascination with data. I started in data science by working with public health and academic research datasets, building pipelines and dashboards to support decision-making. Over time, I realized that the same tools I used to improve health outcomes could also unlock deeper insights into the games I've always loved. That mix of technical skill and genuine sports passion is what drives me—turning raw numbers into stories that reveal performance, strategy, and future potential.
Sports Analytics Focus
My main focus is on baseball and basketball, where I explore both traditional and advanced metrics. I enjoy working with historical datasets and blending them with real-time data to model player and team performance.
